another day another long conversation with someone who thinks A/I is justified by its ubiquity. that it is "unavoidable." extremely boring and exhausting to think that a gaggle of CEOs can decide to put an icon on everything and suddenly it's an inalterable plan of god

It's only ubiquitous because they've spent so much money they need to justify it. Consumers (as in paying customers not fans) don't want it and companies don't know what to do with it.
