I lowkey worried I'm fucked when we are going to be forced to upgrade to windows 11. My PC doesnt have the space, and moving them to an external drive might be hard because my shitty desktop likes to FREEZE during movement of big files/folders. I know you asked not to recommended linux. However, I do recommend you look into some of the distros there may be one that can support MMD and your other programs via wine or other bypasses. If not, I wish you the best of luck in finding a better solution.

The space like I said. Windows has been EATING my computer space for no reason, and I cant exactly do much of a clean out cuz a LOT of my projects and files taking up some of the space are VERY important.

The best thing I ever could do for myself is get a new one, but I'm having trouble finding one that's affordable (that I CAN actually get. Limited options) that fits at LEAST my needs for 500 gb space, all in one and ESPECIALLY a touch screen.

Im kinda screwed when it comes to this since my current laptop doesn't support Windows 11 at all. The processor it has is too weak/oudated for it and it also lacks some TPM 2.0 module-

I KNOW I can backup my projects and models at least. It's my FL Studio projects, instruments and so forth I'm worried for. Idk HOW to transfer those...

You can check if your laptop/pc meets Win11 requirements by using a free program called PC Health Check thats how i know that mine doesnt
