Coronaviruses mutate readily. 'Boosters' are vaccines which are modified to suit the newest mutation of the virus. The older vaccine may no longer be effective against the newest mutation. This is why flu (also a coronavirus) vaccines are updated yearly. Get the 'boosters.'

Sounds great, Although this booster thing for me started with influenza and I skipped them simply because I was too busy and yet 30-ish years later I have not been sick. I cannot justify choosing one. Although I am dangerously old so I fear the future. At the same time I like to gamble.

Your call, naturally. And you might get lucky and not contract either flu or COVID-19.

However, fluvax slipped my mind last year. And I got hit with influenza-A after attending a ham radio club meeting. I have never been sicker (not had COVID). 3 months to get right.

I will never forget again.
