…after the initial $100,000 to identify short-term providers, any money made would be used to lessen other commercial rates!!

Suggesting any rates applied to Airbnb’s would be used to subsidise 🤔 … Hotel commercial rates!

Canada, We have a horrible housing crisis with availability of long term rental homes locals can afford.

BC Government changed a bunch of rules around Airbnb and hosts aren’t happy, but it already seems to be helping a bit. Starting to notice more put up for long term rent.
