By caving on the government funding bill
Chuck Schumer fully surrendered to Trump
Empowered Elon Musk to fire more federal workers
And betrayed
Veterans-who lose $23 billion earmarked for medical care
House Dems-who completely rejected the bill
And the Democratic Party writ large
Unacceptable

Everyone else besides Schumer and Fetterman are all a NO based on their BlueSky and Twitter posts
Pass CR - give the Trump administration “tremendous spending power”
Don’t Pass CR - government shutdown, give the President more power to -
determine essential agencies & programs
furlough staff & redirect funding
control gov’t operations

Primary them all.
I read that Schumer claimed that causing a shutdown would give Trump and Musk greater freedom to cause mayhem. Now I'm reading that the opposite is true.
Can anyone point to an article that explains the differences?
Thanks.

Chuck Schumer will surrender and make it all the way to the showers at Gitmo. He'll have to tell us if "Work Makes Citizens".
We have to get rid of all of these elderly, spineless, multimillionaire senators who have no connection to the lives of their constituents.
They are clueless, no fire in the belly and running off a failed playbook from 20 years ago
Fuck Chuck!
Fully surrounded!
A vote no is not to close the govt, the Republicans decided to do that on their own when we were not invited to the table!
Totally unacceptable.
