thinking about essentially making two websites that use the same data, because i want to experiment with presentation, but also don't want my normal site to be too annoying to use lol

yes, and i would normally! but in this case... there's a lot of extra presentation and transition that i think wouldn't be doable with the typical website routing i'm doing now. in fact, i'd say the second form i want to experiment with is closer to an interactive application than a site lol
