I remember well Brexiters claiming it was Nato that kept the peace, not the EU.

How hollow that sounds now.

I recall going to an event just before the Referendum and speaking with two (Tory), Brexit supporting women attending the event…who, whilst saying that security and defence was a concern, we could rely on NATO with America for our defences.

Wonder what they think now?
