4. Shardpunk
It's a roguelike with turn-based combat akin to XCom, with stress management mechanics, where you fight off against hordes of mutant rat men, it's super underappreciated.

It's already in my library. I bought it right before Christmas and never installed it. I have no memory of this.
Happy Surprise?
Currently working on a video review of this, but let's just say this has perhaps some of the best voice acting I've heard in a game, a narrative focused horror game where the tension just keeps ramping up, elevated by incredible audio.

Can't believe it's nearly 10 years old, but hot damn Undertale is 90% off!? Ignore what you've heard about the fanbase, and just enjoy it for what it is, because yes it really is great, and the soundtrack is one of the greatest ever

This one had completely slipped by me, but the developer reached out and asked if I wanted a copy, and it looked neat so I said sure, ended up being a fantastic puzzler that I really enjoyed playing on my Steam Deck to wind down at night

Currently in Early Access and already one of the best quakensteins, Selaco is incredible. It is a more tactical experience than your typical Retro FPS, the enemy AI is aggressive and will push you to move and improvise, it just hits different.

I'm constantly recommending this, but for good reason. It's an extraordinarily good survival horror with a hand-penciled artstyle, there's nothing quite like, it's underrated as hell folk horror set in a remote village in the Swiss Alps.

Gotta be honest, I was shocked how much this one slipped under the radar, it's a roguelike where you battle with medieval manuscript illuminations where the actions you take with your Weird Medieval Guys is written on the manuscript. It's neat!

So it's probably succeeding at what it's trying to do, I just didn't personally click with it.
Selaco is worth every penny and minute you spend on it
