Retrospace looks amazing, an indie immersive sim with some very awesome retro-futuristic visuals, looks a little bit Prey 2017 and a little bit Bioshock, and I'm extremely here for that. Give it a look, throw some wishlists at it.

I've had my eye on DORF for quite some time, love the oldschool Command & Conquer vibes, and the spritework and animations look positively immaculate, visually it's just tickling something in my brain, just look at it!

Samurai Unicorn looks incredible, a cyberpunk horror/action game with limb dismemberment that's leaning heavily into the PS1 visual style, but doing far more than what that system was capable of. I love it!

Speaking of weird and demos, Clown Meat!

It looks a little Super Meat Boy but way more horrific, from the same developer as Brutal Orchestra, which is a game I need to play, it looks all kinds of gross and wonderful, and just... it's called CLOWN MEAT! 😳

Oh yeah forgot about this one. If you haven't checked it out, I also recommend the creator's previous work, Jimmy and the Pulsating Mass. Amazing RPG with a fun job system that's both hilarious, horrifying and heart-rending. One of the Earthbound-likes that I think "gets it."

Casey, you seem to know a lot of different games. I've been searching for some games to scratch a very specific itch of, go explore and hunt for resources out and about, and come back and build up a base to defend.

Metal gear survive bit me in a way that sucks because it's awful outside it's core.

Yeah, I've kinda bounced off it a few times. Great game, but something disagrees with me about it, can't put my finger on it. Aska is a closer fit, if you haven't played it. Do wish it had as in depth a building a system as valheim does.

Hmm, crafting survival isn't a genre I'm too big on, Project Zomboid is worth a look but I haven't played much of it yet so can't give a solid recommend yet. Heard good things about Grounded too.

Zomboid is close. There's an element of Zomboid, MGSur, And FO4 that appeal to me with the trash scrounging. Love trash scrounging.
