RCAF seem averse to a mixed fleet from what I gather, no doubt due to years of underfunding and problems keeping the CF-18 fleet viable. Doable nonetheless if future government commits the needed resources and explains the cost to Canadians

This could lead to a situation similar to 60's-70's when CAF Air Command operated CF-101/104/5 since CF-35, Upgraded CF-18's and Gripen (if acquired) would almost certainly overlap.
