While Democrats are fighting to protect hardworking Americans, House Republicans just voted to take away Medicaid from kids, families, seniors, and veterans to give tax breaks to billionaires. We’re not going away.

This 👇🏾is the kind of fear mongering assernineperson that you are. You, in particular, are not fighting for the middle class. You are the reason Trump won. People who say things like this are not to be trusted. EVER
They are playing with my life and those I love.
So, does the law need to pass Senate and by how many votes? Then by yucky man?
Guess the GOP wanted to be voted out and never to return. Political suicide.
@ericswalwell.bsky.social you should proooobably be having a rather blunt conversation with congress---mostly republicans---about what happens when you piss off that many people WELL TRAINED in counterinsurgency.
I *wish* Democrats were fighting...I see a few engaged, enraged civic-minded people like you & Booker...and a lot of old dodgy folk waiting for things to quiet down.
I don’t have the time to do ur work for u & post 100’s of examples of Dems electeds: speaking out (eg press conf’s & TV appearances), holding town halls, holding shadow hearings, introducing legislation, using filibustering in congress … in short, everything possible.
Sorry - you are not paying attention. I am seeing the vocal in town halls, in committees, in news conferences daily. Folks I don't even know are speaking out on many issues. Don't assume because you haven't seen it that it's not happening. It is.
Wrong. They are, too. And when did a social resistance get headed up by legislators? You stand in the Capitol blocking bills? No. Everyone has their job. They've been HUGELY outspoken. Do YOUR part and stop pointing fingers at others doing what you don't.
Ok, But what happens to those seniors and children who rely on Medicaid? Is it going to become commonplace seeing the elderly in wheelchairs on the sidewalk dying in mass from starvation and the elements? What the hell man.
Thank you congressman. My mom always told me ACTIONS speak LOUDER than words. At this point in time the Republican actions are loudly telling average American citizens that we do not matter. We are worthless to them and they will not fight for anyone unless they are millionaires and billionaires.
Democrats are still wasting too much time and political capital fighting for the right of men to be able to displace women in women's sports. Focus on ensuring that everyone has the health care they need.
I certainly hope some data genius is tracking the cost difference between DOGE rifs and consolidation vs the new outsourcing costs. I repeatedly see money “saved” only to be contracted out and cost 2ce as much.
I hope maga is ready to take in their elderly parents and grandparents because soon they are getting kicked out and coming home. My mom had cancer and me and 2 siblings took 8 hours shifts on rotation to keep her at home to live out her days, we were fortunate we could work it out among us.
Not to mention the 4 dems that voted today WITH the republicans on the SAVE Act! Betrayal of millions of voters & millions of women! WTF were they thinking?!
I don”t believe the “oh the Republicans want medicaid away” framing. The Democrats are doing a piss poor job to convince Republicans to take at least that part out of bill.
This feaming and shouting doesn”t help. Denocrats are to blame for this too.
Democrats are the Pro Life Party Republicans are the Pro Big Governments Right to Choose Party. Eric you need to go listen to #FDR clips and learn to speak like he did. No apologies
WANT TO STOP the MADNESS & Anti Constitutional treasonous criminality of this WH & entire administration to preserve our democracy? Then it should be a continuous #FullCourtPress THE MEDIA, DEMS IN CONGRESS, ETC. should ALL start the narrative of the Military Removal of them all #RemoveTheThreat

One in five people on Medicare are also on Medicaid.
A cut to Medicaid is automatically a cut to Medicare.

Elected reps? Not so much.
Don’t say Booker or AOC.
Thanks.
4 dems, let alone anyone know they lie and cannot be trusted...
"The president has made clear — Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid — will not take a hit," he added.
