A little neat tip for the music-makers… if it doesn’t derail your creative flow too much, I will always recommend “pre-mixing” your songs as you write/produce them.
Honestly, sometimes that extra bit of “polish” & space between your tracks is the difference between an idea clicking or not!

It's both a preservation thing (fear that replaying the unmixed ver too many times would overwrite my vision of it), and a skill thing (not confident enough that ima be able to get it sounding good again once the overwriting happens)
