It's true: seen from the outside, in my case from Canada, it was so clear what was going on in the UK. Dirty propaganda coming from Russia (and complicit with Trump at the time) and dirty, paid players inside your country.

I think we all grew up naively assuming that living in a modern, wealthy democracy made us immume to ever becoming a dictatorship or succumbing to the lure of fascism. Which is very much ignoring the lessons of history. Stick together yes, but we also need to watch our own countries like hawks.
