I mean, I'm not a simp for the CCP or anything. I would just like to live in a free country that *also* puts a living wage within everyone's reach and keeps people from having to live on the streets or die from lack of healthcare.

We are having one right now, though I've been at a loss for where to take the conversation. Trying to stave off despair, but motes of light are few and far between these days
I mean, I'm pretty sure I can't post "how do you feel about living in a one party autocracy?" or "how do you feel about having everything you see and everything you say on the Internet heavily censored?" or "is every act of dissent met with ruthless state violence, or is that just a myth?"
And yeah, are our elections meaningful? Is our media diet strictly censored? Isn't any dissent with any teeth met with extraordinary state violence? These are conversations I wish we were having to build domestic and international solidarity
So we have free speech and can complain to each other about our government, to you, and even to heaven, but they don't care, they don't listen. Only those with huge wealth can influence the government
Yeah, what I said on the other platform is, Virtually no politician supports anything that harms the profits of major industries like Oil, Gas, Auto, Private Healthcare, Insurance, Banks, etc.
I mean, ordinary people are amazing and I'm so pleased to have an opportunity for interaction. But the one thing I want to talk to them about most is the things they're literally not allowed to talk about 🫤
