In other news...Politics at Griffith, which has long been one of the best departments in the country, no longer has its own dedicated research centre.
Maybe we should hire a consultant to help us understand that.
Well, we can't have academic staff having too much power now...
We end up with a handful of very highly paid execs, with little accountability, far removed from the worlds of research & teaching, already thinking about their next jobs, & making long-term decisions that in many cases they will likely not have to live with themselves.
