We don’t live in the ideal World it’s very much a matter of survival. If brown nosing saves jobs and promotes the UK’s security so be it, there isn’t much choice in the matter.

It won't. It's just embarrassing. Something like 15% of our economy relies on US trade. 42% on the EU. It makes more sense to grow EU trade. It's cheaper to transport; nearer, so greener. It just makes more sense. I certainly won't be buying from or dealing with a dictatorship

It’s not either/or, our economy demands that we trade with both. He isn’t a dictator (yet). The litmus test likely 2 B Greenland? Because of his personality issues much of what he says is more likely noise and disruption. Look how he has back peddled on Zelensky?

You obviously haven't been watching. He's following the Nazi handbook. All his moves are taken directly from Germany in the 1930s. He's referring to himself as a king. There is someone "in" government who wasn't elected and is firing everyone. I think it's sad you can't see what's before your eyes

I’m no supporter of Trump and his personality is such that it’s very hard to assess what his full intentions are? All the UK govt can do is monitor his deeds not so much his words. It’s very early days and the coming months will provide direction Re his more outlandish ideas Re Gaza G’land + Canada
