As someone who has a close family member dealing with ALS, seeing this sort of tech is especially touching for me. Anything that makes the lives of the people inflicted with this nightmare better is truly important, meaningful, cherished work.

Earlier this year, Synchron teamed up with Nvidia to demonstrate Stentrode being used with Apple Vision Pro to let a person with ALS control smart home devices such as speakers, fans, and robot vacuums.
