Perhaps because younger generations have avoided Facebook and Twitter and so have less need to escape? Perhaps they are all on TikTok?

Love that guy but a 16yo who spends all his time creating a news channel and commenting on politics is the furthest thing from a normal young person I can think of 😂

Yes, I've noticed that. Nearly everyone I've followed, and me as well, retired. It's fine, I feel 45, but I'm not, and I do like hearing the younger voices as well. Are they on the bird still? Or other sites.

Yes, Snapchat, TikTok and Instagram are primarily where you'll find the youngsters. Facebook is for talking to their grandparents. WhatsApp is for talking to their parents. None of them has ever heard of Threads.

That's a shame, as there's not much cross pollination of ideas. People from the US seem younger, more idealistic and engaged.
