I worked at a Staples in Business Machines. I didn’t sell many solo copies of 95 it was mostly pre installed on PCs. Most questions were related to Office 95 apps for work.
Worst was needing to upgrade the specs on the machine very time because I was either running out of storage or memory for every new game that was released
I had Windows 95(a) full install and it was 13 floppies. I remember the mind numbing process of installing it. We didn’t have a CD-ROM drive at the time.
Just today found a 5 inch floppy disk drive among old books close to my Apple II. Someone sometime will have fun trying to figure out what all that junk is.
I did tech support at Zeos/Micron during the upgrade from 3.x to 95. It was brutal. Still not as bad as talking people who'd barely ever touched a computer through a mobo swap, though.
Yeah, especially since we had basically no training and felt like the blind leading the blind for the first month or so. I don't think we even had pictures of the installer at first.

Gone are the days people would stand in line for OS updates.
Who could forget?? 😂
