Unfortunately the movie wasn’t that good. Definitely not the actors fault. Mackie was unlucky that his leading film was trying to continue major plot points of movies that were already not well received, Incredible Hulk and The Eternals. A standalone with a new plot would have served him better.

We wanted to go see it, but honestly, we stopped going to movie theaters a few years ago. I think the last one we went to was the new Top Gun. I had a guy next to me who seemed to think he could put his arm into my seat and talk throughout the movie.

We watch at home now.

I SO wished ETERNALS had been a better movie (sure, go ahead & ignore the genius who created them) for This Very Thing,
but yeah, pleased as punch it's doing at least mid-level,
because the "not a racist!"s were sooo onboard with its going-down.

Went and saw it with my wife (in Canada). We are the target Marvel loyalists and we kept waiting for it to be as bad as we were lead to expect. Never happened. Had a great time. Love Mackie, though Ford had a hoot. Best Marvel film ever, no, but solid and entertaining. Worked for me.

It’s good, not great, but glad I saw it on the big screen. With anti-American sentiment I can’t imagine much international box office. With right wing hate of non-white leads, amazed at domestic. But I root for this cap and still root for what our real life us could be. Even if it seems to be dying
