If this came to Trump's attention, he would get great joy out of it. He loves to prove how much smarter he is than those (he would say are) deluded fools who think our country is more important than their personal benefit.
My father-in-law was a Vietnam Vet. He died from Covid in 2020. Every time Trump attacks the VA or any kind of veteran assistance, it feels like he is killing my father-in-law all over again.
So sad to think about. Vietnam vets were not treated well during their service either. My father did a short tour. He was told to hide his service so he would not be attacked as he traveled. Many of my generation were drafted and had no choice but to go. And now this insult. 😩
