I dont see any way out of this situation. There are no negotiations, and with whom, the whole world? His ego wont allow him to just stop the tariffs. Our congress wont do anything, even when inflation hits +10%. There will be nothing left for the long game to play out.

I think that’s painting with a broad brush. There is a blind loyalty because people gain their information from propaganda. Rural poor Georgians still buy that Trump is the economic savior because that’s what their news media is selling. Some are questioning. That’s where Dems need engagement

And "the long game" is locking America into drastically higher costs for everything, because some folks aren't able to do the napkin math what happens to prices when stuff costs $2 vs. building factories and paying Americans in the South (America's China) $7hr to replicate simple parts domestically.
