Texas has voted Democrat in the past. When I first arrived in Houston over 30 years ago, there was a female Mayor, Chief of Police and Governor. All Democrats.
Please yes... Joni Ernst is up in 2026 and I would love nothing more than to see that bread bag wearing bobblehead hit the door. Chuck Grassley has already filed for reelection in 2028... we need good solid candidates like Cindy Axne to come in and clean house over the next few years.
I saw a clip of an interview with him. He started off answering a question coherently, then stammered and started making absolutely no sense whatsoever. Joni is M. I.A.
We told you he was crazy.
You said he was playing 3D chess.
Now your mom's missing her SSA check
and you can't retire because the market's tanked.
Own your mistake and call your GOP congressperson
every fucking day.
If you decide to play only where you are sure to win, you are not likely to expand your reach. Playing it safe is a losing proposition in the long run. In the current environment, reaching out is likely to yield unexpected rewards.
dems need to SHOW UP & VOTE!
They didn't in 2016 because they thought F45 couldn't win.
They showed up in 2020 because they saw that he could win.
They didn't in 2024 because they thought after J6 he couldn't win.
2026 & 2028 - WE HAVE TO VOTE. no sitting it out. to counter R games, need 2/1 margin

But, yes, the Senate should be in play given the level of economic trauma and job cuts. There just need to be effective messengers.
