Don’t get me wrong FF16 is good and I’m around level 20 right now but the combat feels super easy which is not a bad thing per se but everyone has so much health it’s just mashing buttons and dodging when the prompt comes. I thought we were done with qtes too.

Currently on my FF16 playthrough how it’s on PC… my god are the Eikon fights like big ass kaiju fights :D

I mostly use online resources. I first learned hiragana and katakana with online charts and then moved over to kanji immediately with wanikani, alongside a little grammar. For grammar there are different resources out there, best look up a vid for that and go with what you think works best for you!

Yes because it helps immensely. It's no use to learn grammar without any kanji at all since they're essential for sentence structures! And you learn some vocabulary along the way right away as well, which makes things easier for later on 😊

My first Soulslike was DS3 and I ragequit the game for like 3 months because I got stuck at the Abyss Watchers. Tried again a couple months later with a fresh new controller without stick drift and beat them in under 10 tries. Then it clicked and I got hooked 😂

I started practicing a no-death run in DS3 and Sekiro a while but then lacked time to continue because I was getting my degree at that time haha. Then I never got around to it again.
But it paid off because I breezed through Elden Ring.
100%ed all achievements for the game in only 70-ish hours lol.
