Hey when serious allegations about a high ranking party member were made to the Greens, which were denied by that party member, they initiated an independent investigation and stood that member down. This was seen as a bad decision by the media.

ACTs defence is "we were told about it, asked him, he said no, referred the third party to a lawyer and did nothing else like conducting our own investigation" which is fucking wild when it's claims of sexual abuse against your Party President.
At no point here did ACT do anything but try and make this not their problem, even though the accused individual had overseen their internal investigation into similar alleged behaviour within the party by other members. With, possibly, the same lawyer they referred the victim to?? Amazing.
