I disagree. Ian Wright along with any other man who advocates for the women’s game should be part of the broadcasting team.

1. It raises the profile as he is a household name. Four or five years ago, the average football fan wouldn’t have been able to name any female footballers, but know him.

2. It legitimises the game as authentic for people who dismiss the women’s game. “It must be a proper game of football cause Wrighty’s watching it.”

3. He’s a better pundit than some other men and women - knowledgeable and entertaining.

4. How does her comment make her any different to men saying she (and other women) shouldn’t work on the men’s matches? Surely you choose the best person for the job regardless of their gender.

She didn't say he shouldn't work in the women's game so maybe go read the actual words she said before you comment

I have read the words. As I’ve said, I think she is wrong and stated the reasons why.

Oddly enough, this article also makes many of the same points as I did.
