It’s also important to remind people that of that total sum, most of the military support didn’t go directly to Ukraine in cash. It went first to America’s military industrial complex to buy weapons which were then sent to Ukraine.

Adding insult to injury, even those US$46.6B are not full expenses, because the vast majority of both gear & ammunition was already long before decomissioned, in storage to be scrapped/dismantled/detoxed, at very high cost.
Hence netto cost probably not even US$20 billion.
