I doubt if anyone now living in Russia knows. Russia was pro Hitler and Pro Nazi until they turned on Russia.

And we shouldn't forget that for years before WW2 Russia enabled Germany's remilitarization in secrecy by allowing the usage of their land for tank and airplane development.

Hostilities were pretty open. Poland had a right-wing bend and had its aspirations to recreate the Polish-Lithuanian commonwealth. "Backstabbing" implies USSR and Poland were butt-buddies at the time. They were not.
