fellow ADHDers/ppl with really bad motivation... How do you make yourself stick to your lists and plans and then START doing the tasks you need to do... I take meds, I go to therapy, but truth be told I am less online on my public accs coz I'm a wreck LOLL....

ive been coming to terms w the fact that im not gon remember everything-
i can only do stuff if im multitasking anyways...
but that's just what works for Me
- limit promises. Overburdened equals under-accomplished.
- keep a task list always. Mines a text file on phone. Check off as you go.
If I fully procrastinate it isnβt gonna get done at all, so I rather do a little and take a break than not at all!
I also take Ritalin!
Oh, asmr, rain sounds, Twitch streams/vods, any long form content tbh, and music without any lyrics also helps me focus!
It also gives you time to process how you feel, cement what youβre going to do tomorrow in place, and make it easier to approach!

For me it helps to list everything I need to do first and then pick what appeals to me, or if I can't pick I use : https://randomtaskpicker.vercel.app/ .
What works best after that is to find an accountability buddy, usually a private discord-stream ;w;
So far I've been told to make a physical list of day to day activities I do, and then each day make a separate list with a few picked out tasks from the previous list BUT the problem is I find it so hard-
There's also other strategies in The Anti-Planner book, but irl it just depends on how much I dread the task at hand π
the suffering of action is far less than that of the consequences of inaction
it's not perfect but it helps
i hope you find what works for you
