Makes sense. Spend £100m before July and then spend more afterwards. Would work out really well if we can get some of these loaned out players gone but I think we're going to find it difficult. I reckon we're pushing hard for Garnacho to go sooner rather than later to help with the 2024/25 balance.

I reckon the main reason United want to get some deals done quickly is to get them on the books for this season. Basically sign someone in June and you've already split their value over two seasons. If we sign two players before July our budget effectively resets
