For Kamala personally, her 2020 embrace of gender affirming surgeries for fed prisoners & not responding to the attack ads on it.

Yes, so when one of them turns out to be true - sex changes for prisoners - & you’ve got a clip of the candidate herself being for it, you’re fucked. “He’s for us” was the part of that ad that really killed us; it reinforced existing sentiments that Dems focus too much on tiny groups & not everyone.

Problem is a whole lot of Dems—including very active, engaged ones, not just talking about far-left whiners—would say the Dems need to be more genuinely left & get really angry about any tacking to the center they see.

I’m blaming the consultants who run this party who were so far off base as to what people needed to hear to get off their lazy asses and vote. She was terrific, and if she ignored their advice, she might be president.
