Recently I read The Frozen River, and The Bee Keeper Of Aleppo, 2 very different books. Both excellent.
For my ongoing homestead studies reading The Fox Fire series. Love it!

I’m also in a reading slump so I’m just looking at the rest of the comments for everyone else’s suggestions.
My faves are The Kneebone boy, The Thief Lord, Are you there god, it's me Margaret, and Redwall:)
Thursday Murder club
Where the Crawdads Sing
Bel Canto
Shepherd king duet by Rachel Gilig
Arsenic and Adobo by Mia P. Manansala (if you’re open to reading a Filipino cozy murder mystery)
I haven’t heard of the Shepherd King Duet but I love your other two suggestions so I feel like it must immediately go on the tbr now.
Good luck!
Available as audio or text on the Libby app (also free).
it’s also really really funny
For a lighter alternative, Boyfriend Material is 👌
The Giver by Lois Lowry is an often banned book, middle-grade great dystopian read.
The Lost Apothecary by Sarah Pennar got me out of a slump before, too.
“Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep” - Phillip K Dick.
