That's all well and good, but what about those people already paying exorbitant rents for substandard housing, who have just been hit with another rent increase?
I have been. But I'm a little tired of media reporting the 'housing crisis' as being purely about how much it costs to buy a house, and of federal govt acting like bringing that price down will magically fix everything.
The ALP are more interested in damaging The Greens than solving the housing crisis. The refusal to negotiate in good faith (especially rent relief) shows a complete contempt of those people struggling.
