it’s not hard, people: plant a variety *local-native* species (not some dumb fad tree the nurseries are trying to offload) — we’re fortunate that as a mega-diverse country we have so many to chose from — and source their genetics (seed or stock) from regions drier than your own to build resilience
"Spread-out/minimize risk", surely? This headline makes it sound like planting diverse tree species *causes* risk, which is the opposite of the actual conclusion reached.
