A Welsh myth tells of Prince Llywelyn’s loyal hound, Gelert, slain when his master wrongly thought he’d harmed his child. In truth, he’d saved the baby from a wolf. Snowdrops are said to have bloomed on his grave, their white petals symbols of innocence & loyalty. #FolkloreSunday
