Gamers - do you have a significant memory of a game that you associate w/ a family member? π€
Example: my grandma didn't get tech at all, but she would sit and watch me play Harvest Moon 64 because she thought it was nice how "I pet and fed the cows" (her fav part). Just a positive memory I have.

Thanks for sharing Ken. Cheers!
For me my fondest memories are of playing Persona 5 while my youngest brother watched me play. We laughed so much and would crack jokes about stuff from the game. I'll never forget him.
I would watch her play FF1, FF6, etcβ¦.But the first game i played (with her help) was Final Fantasy Mystic Questβ¦.So i associate that game with her
Probably why i love that game
I literally played it as like a 5 year old with no RPG experience, and to this day i dont care how easy it is⦠i hold deep nostalgia for it
My dad played contra, megaman, Mario, drmario(with mom), mariokart, starfox, jet moto, twisted metal, raiden(we beat it together once) road rash, nearly any pool game but side pocket the most.
Nintendo was a great way to grow up though π
The Christmas my family got the ps2, my older brother woke me up before sunrise and we played almost the entirety of LEGO Starwars that day on a TV that was so dim, shadows and holes looked the same.

I appreciate you sharing!
The one with my mom is super special but I can share a funny one too for the q: my sister and I fought a lot growing up, but we got along best gaming when we werenβt trying to actually win the game and just ignored the goal π
Unhinged mayhem, savagery, chaos and a ton of laughter π€£
Mario Kart, SNES, my brother and I would drive around (not race) and collect banana power-ups to make "houses" on the track. It was fun, I swear lol.
My parents were never even remotely happy about me gaming but when we got Wii Sports or Wii Play? They loved it! I always played tennis with my dad, he was actually better than me
Thanks for sharing.
Yeah, as people share more I have more of my own memories popping up (have a couple of holiday memories too).
Appreciate your answering!
In fact, it's one of the few games I've gotten my wife to play with me lol.
Anyways, thanks for sharing. π
