Encouragingly – and quite astonishingly, to my mind – they find that 57% of climate scientists now engage in advocacy and/or activism for the climate.
The role of researchers, we've been told, is to generate the data and then back silently away, leaving others to decide what to do with the knowledge
But the climate science community now rejects this
It reminds us that culture does rapidly change, even in institutions as staid, slow-moving and conservative as academia
The future’s about making our knowledge matter. Join us!
