I'm not sure what your style is but if you want something new and artsy, I'd recommend looking at independent artist owned shops. I can give you some if you give me an idea on what you're looking for
ah thanks! i have used thredup before—many years ago—and had some success with it, i’m glad it’s still turning out good pieces! these days my wardrobe is at least half menswear so it’s not really a viable option anymore, which is part of why i’m at a loss for finding good online options.
Oh no, I didn't think ThredUp has poor options for menswear. 😔 That's a little tricky! I usually use ThredUp whenever I want something specific that I can't find easily (ex. Shortalls, cloaks/ponchos, specific cut of pants) so I'm surprised it's still not an option for you 😞
no worries! i haven’t checked it out in a while so things may have changed. back in the day it was exclusively women’s clothing and sizes were sometimes pretty limited too, but i was shopping there when it was pretty new so i’m thrilled to hear it’s still going strong! i’ll check it out and see—
i wouldn’t mind finding some good independent makers, but tend to struggle there as i’m not usually looking for loud patterns or graphics. i favor neutrals and tapered silhouettes but i’m down to try new things especially if they’re good quality
Hmmm most of the indie shops I follow have pretty loud patterns/graphics 😅 It seems like our styles are on the opposite spectrum. I could ask around my fashion community and get back to you!
