At a first glance the map might seem complex, but knowing other strategy games - I am sure map is intuitive to read as soon as you accustom yourself to controls and the UI.

After, if we talking outside of work, playing multiple hours in PDX games and stuff like Foxhole - yeah, you're right. Rather easy to read the map
