Arguing "speed" as the reason to make the ad with genAI while also releasing it in NOVEMBER is a wild take. Maybe if they waited till the holiday season they could have more time to make the ad without genAI and backlash?
This is what capitalism leads to, steal millions of peoples portfolios that they have been honing for decades. Then they turn around and never hire someone for services, so they can just keep making shareholders happy by saving so much money doing things completely in house with 5 people.
It's not just the visuals but also the shot order and story telling. I first thought the polar bear family was inside the satellite shown the shot prior. Some shots looks like a parody from a sophisticated highly passionate 2009 youtube poop enthusiast.
Is horrible we reach to this point that AI can be seen in commercial. But is also baffling they found it hard work to make it look that way with poor result. Honestly I am tempted to do a quick animation to do a better job at it
