do whatever you want. As long as you do not change that one TV at my gym where they always show travel docus and such on e.g. turtle shelters somewhere on tropical islands ...
It's quite relaxing to watch that while exercising on the crosstrainer.
I haven't been able to find a specific case of anyone being charged. I suspect they could say it was criminal mischief, but I don't think it's ever happened yet. Also I'm FAR from being a lawyer.
Crunch fitness isn’t safe for trans people like they say btw - they wouldn’t let me out of a trainer contract with a transphobic trainer until I got in the manager’s face
I can't imagine it's actually against the law unless they ask you to leave and you refuse. There's some illegal shit you can do with a Flipper Zero like stealing NFC data but IR harassment isn't a law yet. If you do it watch it be the next EO tho lol
No law that I can think of. No idea what the hell planet fitness policies are though. My gym is nice enough to leave a remote in the cardio area so I don't need to bring my flipper along when I go.
In all seriousness though, pre election every tv was on the news and every other tv was Fox, now they just show Law & Order, Infomercials, TBS movies and Reality TV. What’s up with that shit?
The one that I go to has a remote for the TVs attached to the treadmills, maybe the only person who's figured out how to change the channel on the is a fox news die hard?
not against the law to use the IR app to change tv channels, but there are cheaper options. it could be against the law to use the touch tunes remote subghz files to skip shitty songs at the bar, but it is extremely satisfying and i'll never stop.
