I think I might just be Stormlight-pilled, because I'm halfway through Rhythm of War and I am loving it. There's something about the journey of these books and the characters in it. Apparently, Rhythm of War was a relative miss for a lot of people. I don't really get it, honestly. - ThreadSky

Rhythm of War isn’t my favorite book in SLA but it’s far far from a miss imo. It’s a slow book, sure, but it has some of the single greatest new POV character arcs in the series.

My goal is to start and finish Wind and Truth by the end of the year, but I don't think I'm gonna make it. Either way, I'm very excited. Haven't connected with a cast of characters this hard since I first read One Piece.

Rhythm of War was definitely a hit for me, I really loved the focus on Adolin and Navani particularly. Their journeys of learning about the wider world they live in was so engaging, but I can understand some not enjoying the introspection and science exploration as much.
