USA? More like USR. If a sane President comes to power I'd trust that president. But history has shown that one never knows what lunatic will follow. So no, cannot trust the US as such anymore. We had 85 good years together but now the US has chosen to stand alone or with RU, North Korea and China

Sadly true. There is no reason to trust Trump, so no longer a basis for confidence in US relations. Trump's effort to sabotage support for Ukraine, siding with Russia and their undeniable lies, taints Trump to the point he's as much of a national security risk to democratic nations as Putin.
