@beaubrannon.bsky.social has proven to be the guy to beat so far this year, and he started the night off with a victory in the first feature at Charlotte. He held off charges from Craig Silby but was able to maintain a consistent lead over eventual podium finishers Silby and @JoshGerlach.com.
The second feature of the night seemed to unfold exactly like the first, with Brannon jumping out to the lead early over Silby and Gerlach. However, Gerlach was the first of the leaders to move up to the top of the track.
He overtook Brannon on lap 15 and led the final 18 laps to grab his first win of the season. Brannon and Logan Henderson finished on the podium, marking Henderson's first career podium finish. Gerlach and Anielski both went +4 to share the hard charger honors.
Ironman Series action completed the race night trifecta, this time at I-55. Brannon took the lead from Gerlach after both drivers fired from the front row, and car 49 never looked back.
He led every lap in the caution-free 30-lap feature event, with Silby and Gerlach completing the podium once again. Silby moved up five positions, snagging the hard charger.
