Cutting congress' pay feels like a great idea, but ensuring the only people in congress are either:

A) Independently wealthy.

or worse

B) A patron of the ultra wealthy

We should pay elected officials a good salary, commensurate with their responsibilities, BUT we must demand our money's worth.
