They're just annoyed/amused, and glad trans people are scared. Watch Vance smirk and turn to say something he thinks is clever. Just looking at them, I can hear the mocking, "Oh, I'm so scared. Help me, I'm trans and I'm scared." Trans and allied people need to network and prepare.
