I’m gonna be really mad if they don’t roll the dice on another SamCap movie. Bring Markus and McFeely back if you have to, but Mackie absolutely has the juice, I like this character a lot

Very annoying how quickly the “Mackie has no charisma” talking point has taken hold in online discourse despite being patently false. He’s so charming!
He brings a real playful, man of the people energy to Sam that’s a great differentiator from Steve’s stoicism. It’s a very good performance/characterization
This movie is *actually* carried by Mackie and Ramirez’ chemistry the way people insisted The Marvels was by its leads (not that the cast of that movie weren’t fun together, but that movie gave them so little room to breathe)
Hoping and praying they give him enough Hype Moments and Aura in the Avengers movies to get casuals on board with another one of these regardless of where the audience scores land on this one
