For years the debate in front of me was "Democrats are feckless weak compromising losers without principles or imagination, interested only in their own paychecks and the donor class" versus "Democrats are the only thing between us and the abyss" and I am deeply concerned everyone was right.

It's probably time to try a different approach (and also stop divvying the opposition).

I'm participating locally and will have opinions on who ends up at DNC.
This is egregious.
They are more like a welcome mat to the abyss than a barricade of any sort.
The only faction within the system that could prevent total disaster is itself catastrophically corrupt and broken, and a lot of people refuse to acknowledge there's even a problem.
Instead, they're debating which groups are acceptable sacrifices.
