This is in reference to the fantasy novel The Lord of the Rings. The 1200 M is an immortal wizard, and the 111 M has carried a life-extending magic ring for decades. Describing the ring as "precious" shows the corrupting influence of the ring's maker, who is the Dark Lord of the setting.
Thanks for the clarification. I'm very familiar with Lord of the Rings - just didn't catch the reference in this case! And yes, that Ring corrupted everyone and everything... not unlike a certain person we all know far too well at this point. (Actually, Gandalf was more like 2,000, but I digress.)
Yeah, the original post says 2,019, though I think that's just the year the original post was made. I just used the number from the comment I was replying to and then there was no edit feature so 🤷♂️
