it's absolutely incredible how hard they dropped the ball with the last few episodes between hibiki's father, ver and in general how they managed the main villain jesus christ

I know the whole "we must forgive the family" concept is tightly tied to each anime's DNA but for fuck sake IT'S SO BAD HERE I'M ACTUALLY STUNNED WHYYYYYYYY
on top of that and ruining the pretty good found father arc they were setting up between Hibiki and Genjiro, and the whole giving Ver a fucking redeption arc, why the hell introducing some decently interesting villains like the autoscores just to get rid of them like that?! This is SMTVV 0.1
my whole opinion on this arc can be summarised with the Utena GIF "Male opinion discarded" (can't find it tho) all the new male characters were so bad and the writers really wanted us to like and appreciate them, it's borderline revolting
